From Classmates to Family A Journey of Friendship, Unity, Leadership, Service and Lifelong Brotherhood.
Our story began in the year 2004, when young boys and girls from different homes and communities came together with one common purpose to receive quality education at Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School, Ozubulu. None of us imagined that the friendships we were about to build within the walls of our school would one day grow into a lifelong family bound together by love, unity, trust and unforgettable memories.
From our very first day in school, we shared classrooms, learned side by side, encouraged one another academically, and competed in various school activities. Every school day created new friendships and unforgettable experiences that remain fresh in our hearts even today.
Our school life was filled with joy and healthy competition. Whether it was classroom learning, quiz competitions, debates, sporting activities, cultural events or simply enjoying our break periods together, every moment contributed to shaping us into responsible individuals. The football field, assembly ground and classrooms became places where lifelong memories were created.
We proudly represented Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School in numerous inter-school competitions. Through determination, teamwork and dedication, our school recorded several victories in Quiz Competitions, Football Championships and other academic and sporting contests, bringing honour and recognition to our beloved alma mater.
One of the most beautiful parts of our school life was the friendship we shared. Our funny nicknames, playful arguments, laughter, jokes and daily interactions created a unique bond that has continued to unite us many years after graduation. Those moments remind us that school was not only about education—it was about building relationships that would last a lifetime.
We were equally blessed with exceptional teachers whose passion for education went beyond the classroom. They dedicated themselves to nurturing us academically and morally, teaching us discipline, leadership, integrity, respect and the values required to become responsible members of society. Their sacrifices and commitment laid the foundation for many of our successes today.
After successfully completing our Senior Secondary School education and sitting for both the WAEC and NECO examinations in 2010, each of us embarked on different journeys in pursuit of higher education, business opportunities, careers and family life.
Although distance separated us physically, the memories we shared during our school years remained alive in our hearts. Over time, many classmates lost contact with one another, while others settled in different cities and countries in search of better opportunities.
Today, we are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our classmates. Our members have become successful traders, entrepreneurs, engineers, medical practitioners, teachers, bankers, civil servants, ICT professionals, business owners and experts across numerous industries. Many have also distinguished themselves through community service, leadership and humanitarian activities.
Despite our different career paths and locations, one thing has remained constant—our identity as members of the Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School Ozubulu Class of 2010.
A new chapter in our history began on 3rd July 2022, when a group of passionate classmates came together with a vision to reconnect old friends and rebuild the strong bond that had existed during our school days.

Together, they created a WhatsApp platform with the sole aim of reconnecting classmates who had lost contact over the years. What started as a small group of friends quickly grew into a thriving alumni association as more members were located and invited to join.
The vision extended beyond simply reconnecting classmates. The association was established to foster unity, strengthen friendships, provide welfare support for members, organize reunions, encourage personal and professional growth, and create opportunities to give back to our school and society.
Today, the Alumni Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School Ozubulu 2010 Set has grown into a respected family where members support one another during moments of celebration and times of need. Through love, unity and commitment, we continue to preserve the legacy that began in 2004.
Following the establishment of the Alumni Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School Ozubulu 2010 Set on 3rd July 2022, Lotanna Obiukwu was unanimously elected as the pioneer Chairman of the association.
His administration laid the foundation upon which the association continues to grow today. Under his visionary leadership, many classmates who had been out of contact for years were successfully reunited. The association experienced rapid growth in membership, stronger unity among classmates, and increased participation in alumni activities.
One of the landmark achievements of his tenure was the introduction of regular visits to less privileged homes. Beginning in 2022, members voluntarily contributed resources and visited orphanages and vulnerable members of society, demonstrating the association's commitment to compassion, charity and community service.
His leadership created a culture of unity, transparency, accountability and friendship that continues to guide the association today. At the successful completion of his tenure, he peacefully handed over leadership after serving the association with dedication and integrity.
In 2025, following the completion of the pioneer administration, leadership was officially handed over to Azubuike Henry Orazuluike, who became the Chairman of the Alumni Varsity Comprehensive Secondary School Ozubulu 2010 Set.
Since assuming office, his administration has continued to strengthen the association through visionary leadership, financial discipline, unity and genuine concern for the welfare of members. Under his leadership, members have become more actively involved in supporting one another both spiritually and financially.
Recognizing the importance of standing together during difficult moments, the association has successfully organized fundraising initiatives to assist members facing financial and personal challenges. These acts of generosity have strengthened the bond among members and demonstrated that our association is truly a family where no one stands alone.
The administration has also continued to encourage members through prayers, emotional support and financial assistance whenever the need arises. This culture of care has inspired greater participation and strengthened relationships among classmates.
Another significant milestone achieved during this administration was the establishment of the association's official bank account. This important achievement has provided a secure and transparent means of managing the association's finances while encouraging accountability and long-term financial planning.
Through prudent financial management and the commitment of members, the association has successfully built savings that will support future projects, welfare programmes and community development initiatives.
Chairman Azubuike Henry Orazuluike continues to encourage every member to remain steadfast, disciplined, committed and united. He constantly reminds members that the continued growth and success of the association depend on mutual respect, active participation, accountability and our shared determination to support one another.
